AutoValue Nigeria exists because buying or selling a car in Nigeria has always been a gamble — on price, on mileage, on whether the money ever arrives safely. We decided that was a problem worth solving properly.
Why We Exist
Ask ten sellers the price of a 2018 Toyota Camry in Lagos — you'll get ten different answers. There was no reliable, public reference for what cars actually sell for in the Nigerian market. We built one.
Clocking — rolling back odometers — is so common it's almost expected. We verify mileage with OCR on actual dashboard photos. If the number is real, it gets a Verified badge. If something's off, we flag it.
Meeting a stranger with millions of naira in cash is genuinely dangerous for both parties. We're building an escrow layer where the money is held safely until the car is confirmed delivered. Coming soon.
